  • Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, it’s completely normal to feel unsure about what to expect. At aluma psychology, we aim to make the process straightforward, supportive, and uniquely yours.

Here’s what your first 50 minute session might look like:

    • We’ll begin by getting to know you — your story, your goals, and what brought you here.

    • Together, we’ll talk about what you’d like to focus on, and how therapy can be tailored to you.

    • We will support and guide you through the process, going at your own pace.

We see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your knowledge of yourself, and we bring our expert psychological knowledge. By working together, we tailor therapy to suit your individual needs, preferences, and values.

Most importantly, your therapy space is yours, a place to feel understood, supported, and respected.
